About Your Alarm System

Your alarm system may be armed in the “Away” or “Stay” mode. Once the system is armed, each monitored zone has the ability to recognize a breach. Once a zone has been breached, the alarm system then dials our monitoring center and reports the message through a telephone line. Once the signal is received, the alarm system will wait to send another message if another zone is breached. Entering your four-digit code then the off button to turn off the system will end this process.

To arm the system in “Away” mode:
Enter your four-digit code then the “Away” button (“Away” button = the 2 button)

To arm the system in “Stay” mode:
Enter your four-digit code then the “Stay” button (“Stay” button = the 3 button)

To disarm the system:
Enter your four-digit code then the “Off” button (“Off” button = the 1 button)

To clear alarm memory from the keypad:
Enter your four-digit code then the “Off” button (“Off” button = the 1 button) Repeat a second time shortly after to complete the clear

In order to arm your system all zones must be secure (closed). When all zones are secure the green ready light will turn on. If your keypad is displaying “Not Ready” it is informing you that the alarm system is not ready to turn arm. Common reasons for this are that a door or window is not completely closed, a motion detector may be sensing movement, or a previous alarm has not been cleared out of the memory. Correct the condition and the alarm system will be ready to arm.
